Financial Planner

You will build and develop trusted relationships with existing and prospective clients, providing financial planning and wealth management advice within an agreed business plan. You will lead client meetings and make tailored recommendations covering retirement planning, investments, inheritance tax and tax efficiency. Regular reviews will keep each client’s strategy in line with their circumstances and goals.

You will work closely with in-house Investment Managers and Professional Services colleagues to deepen client relationships and create new business opportunities. You will also manage your new business pipeline and keep client records accurate and compliant, while maintaining the highest professional and regulatory standards.

• Location: Liverpool
• Salary: to £80,000 + bonus and benefits
• Qualifications: Level 4 Diploma or above (e.g. DipPFS) with a current Statement of Professional Standing; Chartered or working towards desirable

What We Are Looking For

• Level 4 qualified or above, ideally Chartered
• Proven experience advising new and existing clients on a fee basis
• Strong technical knowledge across retirement, IHT, tax efficiency and investment
• Ability to analyse client information and make suitable, compliant recommendations
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain advice processes clearly
• A strong client service ethic and the ability to win new business through referrals and introductions
• Good organisation, with the ability to prioritise and work well under pressure
