Paraplanner — Edinburgh (Hybrid)   Salary: £35,000 to £50,000 + Benefits

About the Opportunity

AMG Search is delighted to be working with a well-established, Chartered independent financial planning firm in Edinburgh to recruit a Paraplanner. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or developing paraplanner to join a supportive, growing business that genuinely invests in its people.

The Role

You will work alongside a team of Financial Planners, providing high quality paraplanning support across a broad range of client cases. The firm fully funds industry related exams and actively encourages progression, if you have ambitions to move into an advisory role in time, this business will support that journey.

Salary and Package

• Junior: mid to high £30,000s
• Experienced: up to £50,000
• All industry related exams fully funded
• Flexible arrangements considered on a case by case basis

Working Pattern

• Relocating to West End offices in August 2026
• Preference for candidates who enjoy being part of a visible, engaged team

What We Are Looking For

• Previous paraplanning experience within an IFA or financial planning environment
• Ideally Level 4 qualified – at least working towards
• Strong attention to detail and report writing skills
• Ambition to develop and progress within the profession
